Bunny Levine spent 25 years as a school librarian before finally pursuing the acting dream she had carried since childhood.<\/p>\n
The beloved character actress, known for roles in Gilmore Girls<\/em>, Everybody Loves Raymond<\/em>, Law & Order<\/em>, Ugly Betty<\/em>, La La Land<\/em> and many other shows, died peacefully in her sleep at her California home on August 20 at age 97.<\/p>\n Born in 1928, Levine retired from education in 1985 and began acting at nearly 60.
