Céline Dion is actively managing a rare neurological condition called Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), which she publicly diagnosed in December 2022 after experiencing symptoms for nearly 17 years.

Health Status and Treatment:

Condition: Stiff Person Syndrome causes severe muscle stiffness, spasms (which can be violent enough to break bones), and difficulty walking or singing.

Rehabilitation: She follows an intense regimen involving physical therapy, vocal therapy, immunotherapy, new medications, Pilates, and ballet.

Current Outlook: Dion has expressed that she is feeling strong, doing great, and successfully managing her health.

Performances: Following a major appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, she made a triumphant return to full concert performances in September 2026, kicking off a limited engagement in Paris.
