A father wanted to teach his daughter an important lesson after she graduated with honors. He gave her an old car and said, “Before I give it to you, take it to a used-car lot and see how much they will offer.”
She returned and said, “They offered me $1,000 because it looks worn out.”
Her father then asked her to take it to a pawn shop. They offered only $100 because the car was so old.
Finally, he told her to take it to a car club.
When she returned, she was amazed. Members had offered $100,000 because the car was a Nissan Skyline R34, a rare and highly sought-after classic.
Her father smiled and said:
